Matt Sena

Licensed Professional Counselor/ Clinician

Matt Sena is originally from Colorado. He has a Master of Science degree in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and brings a wealth of experience. For the past nine years he has managed projects to strengthen families in conjunction with Alaskan tribal health consortia. He also is well-known for his work promoting good fathering and positive male involvement with children and has done youth development via BrainWise, a program that helps children and adolescents develop critical thinking and decision making skills. Matt works with intergenerational families providing therapy, aboriginal counseling and education. He also is active in community prevention work and social justice organizing. Matt comes from a large family and is an elder brother to five siblings. He is Christian and enjoys reading the Gospel. As hobbies he likes traveling, fishing, skiing, bicycling, hiking, drumming and joking around. He also loves learning, storytelling and traditional culture. Back to Our Staff
